Exploring HS Science and Robotics

An exciting day, indeed! We inquired into what it means to be explorers.... Equipped with just a room number and a few clipboards. We were tasked to search and find Mr. Paulson's Science Laboratory in the High School building. Some of us used maps that we found around the school to help us find our way. Others asked questions from experts around the school. While a few of us used our prior knowledge of the campus layout to guide us. In the end, we all found our way...

With the success of our first mini-field trip to the Science lab, we endeavored to explore once more. This time, we went in search of Mr. Dingrando's ROBOTICS room. We divided ourselves into three groups and each group chose just ONE strategy to find their way. We noticed that asking experts around the school to point us in the right direction was the most efficient approach, followed very closely by using maps and signs. Using our previous knowledge of the school's layout was the strategy that took the most time to get to or destination.

After exploring two very fascinating rooms in high school. Students each had strong opinions about which  of the two was their personal favorite experience. This led to them writing an opinion piece on this topic.
