Gardenia Bread Factory

As we continue our learning on the origins of food products and the various stages of food production, a trip to the Gardenia Bread Factory was a fantastic example of this process. Students were able to concretely see the different stages that a number of ingredients go through to become bread. They also saw the packaging process and how finished products are prepared for shipping out to different grocery stores.
